Ingredients:
- 2 packages of totrtellini (I used Taste Republic)
- 1Ib of ground beef
- 1 Jar (24oz) of pasta sauce
- 8oz cream cheese
- 1-2 cups of mozza cheese
- 1/2 cup of parmesan cheese
- Seasoning to taste (I used garlic powder, salt and Italian seasoning)
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350 Degrees F.
- Cook pasta to a la dente to what your package of tortellini calls for. Drain it and set it aside for future use.
- While pasta is boiling, brown the ground beef with the seasoning of your choice.
- Remove the extra grease from the beef and stir in the pasta sauce and cream cheese. Let the mixture simmer until it is well mixed.
- Now mix the tortellini in the sauce mixture and pour it into a prepared casserole dish. Top with mozza and parmesan cheese.
- Bake the dish uncovered for 20 min. Switch to broil and bake for a extra 3 minutes or until your preference on how browned the cheese is.
Notes:
- Enjoy this meal with garlic toast or a side salad!
- This meal serves about 8 people.
Storage:
- Leftovers last 3 days in the fridge
- This meal freezes well. You may want to add more marinara sauce when reheating to keep the moisture!
