Ingredients:
- 1 Package of GF Ciabatta Bread (I used the schar brand)
- 1/2 cup of butter
- 1/2 cup of mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup of cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup of mozzarella cheese
- 4 cloves of garlic minced
- 1/4 teaspoon of oregeno (garnish)
Directions:
- Preheat your oven to 425 Degrees F.
- Cut the loafs of ciabatta breat in half so you have them open faced on a cooking sheet.
- In a bowl now combine softened butter with mayonnaise, cheese and garlic. It should come out as a spread.
- Now spread the mixture onto each of the buns generously. Should cover both halves.
- Bake the bread for 10 minutes so that the spread has melted. If you want a cripy garlic toast switch oven to broil on HI for 3-5 mintues.
- Top with garnish and serve.
Notes:
- You can also cook this recipe in the airfryer. Just airfry for 7-8 mintutes.
- If your softening butter that was in the fridge, microwave for 10 sec intervals until softened but not melted. You should be able to press your finger easily into the butter.
- Make sure to check frequently on the garlic toast as it cooks. Expecially when its broiling.
Storing:
- If you dont want to make all the garlic toast at once or you have leftover spread, the spread can store in the fridge up to 2 weeks if covered and stored properly.
